“Progress in talks between Belgrade and Pristina would clearly improve Serbia's position in both the European Parliament and other European institutions”, the eurodeputt, which Serbian media have quoted, has said.
According to Bilchik, it has not been easy for Serbia when it has decided for EU membership, but has said it must make other important decisions.
He has said the first point is normalisation of relations with Kosovo, because without doing so, as he has stated, <x0-progress towards the European Union will be slow, or will operate at all”.
