The association, according to US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Gabriel Escobar, is mandatory legal duty for all parties and cannot escape a party or an individual. Escobar has been elabored on Wednesday the first statement a month since the Kosovo government does not want to be part of the process of forming the Association of Serb majority municipalities, then it will be discussed with “alternative partners”.
“Association is a mandatory international legal obligation. He imposes Kosovo, enforces Serbia and imposes the EU on him, and why we have supported him is our commitment. Therefore, a party and an individual cannot escape from that unilateral”, Escobar has declared.
The assistant secretary has clarified how he views the commitment of options.
