The U.S. State Department Adviser Derek Chollet also spoke of these visits.
According to Chollet, this is an important moment and demonstrates hope that there will be progress in the dialogue process for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
Again, it is very important that visits are made and that the parties talk. This visit is a continuation of previous visits late last year. It's a very important moment. The reason the United States is joining this visit is about the importance we give to this process and our support for this process. We don't expect this situation to be resolved during these meetings tomorrow. But it is an important turning point. We hope in this process in the coming weeks, we hope to see real progress”, has declared Chollet for the REL.
President Vjosa Osmani had warned them at the end of December last year.
Osmani had said the emissaries would come to give answers to the questions she has posed about the Franco-German plan.
“... For all these issues that I've put together, we'll get answers from their emissaries, from their respective advisers, who I believe will come to Kosovo in the first part of January and I'm confident that all these concerns we have, explain. The Emissaries of Germany and France, but I believe that at that meeting the US Emisari will join, because for us the presence of the United States is essential at these” meetings, Osmani had declared in Klan Kosova
