US Embassy Invites Political parties in Question of Association Issue

The US Embassy has invited political parties to a joint discussion on 31 January.

It is learned that the topic of discussing this meeting, initiated by Ambassador Jeff Havenier, will be the issue of establishing the Association of Serb majority municipalities.

Other diplomats are expected at this table of discussion.

Our “argument is to listen directly from various shareholders to commitment to association, in support of dialogue assisted by the EU between Kosovo and Serbia. We are organising this discussion in line with our long-term goals of advancing Kosovo's integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures and as reflections on our lasting friendship and support for Kosovo citizens. The event will be held according to the rule échatham house”, said on paper.

Likewise, it has been reported that US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Hovenier will invite civil society members to question Kosovo. The topic of discussion will be the establishment and statute of the Serb-run municipality Association.
