Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli has said she is trying to find a solution to the electricity payment for Serbs in northern municipalities, adding that this situation cannot continue indefinitely.
She explained that at the end of last year, they were forced to share 17m euros from the Kosovo Government budget for System Operator, Transition and Electrical Energy Market in Kosovo, COST.
According to her, COSTT during this period has accumulated debts and bills coming up with interest if not paid on time.
The “can't go on indefinitely and we're looking at all the possibilities to find solutions that will enable the luck of the citizen flow of that” section.
“We are talking about the August period through November. We're talking about bills in August and September, they've been pre-paid. It has also been added October and November, as bills have come and it was a period in which discussions were continuing between KEDS and Elektroseveri”.
