She said Kurt did well that she finally decided to visit Skenderaj, the most affected municipality.
However, the opposition lawmaker added that this visit, apart from having to be realised in time, would have to come, “above all from a sense of responsibility” and not according to it, in response to widespread public pressure.
“I hope the government will overcome the so-called approach to the Drenica region and respond to the urgent needs of citizens severely damaged by the 64x1> floods, she wrote on Facebook.
Kurt, along with the chairman of Scytheright, Fadil Nura, has now visited the village of Lyusa to see the damage caused by the flooding.
Along with Kurt and Nura were Defence Minister Armend Mehaj, as well as Minister of Management and Local Power Elbert Krasniqi.
Nura on Facebook, has announced that damaged are family economies, agriculture, as well as public infrastructure.
“Significant damage was done to the poultry farm”, he wrote.
“Touched families and Skenderaj as a whole, in what is behind the floods, need more than ever more support from the central level, to forget what happened and start from the pre-”.
