Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy (PDK), Blerta Deliu, has called for solidarity and support for Drenica, following the flood disaster as a result of heavy rainfall over the past two days.
Deliu via a Facebook post, said there is no room for local and cultural racism.
According to her, there is no difference between Kosovo's people, adding that what Drenica represents is what is planted within each citizen of Kosovo.
She next invited all of Kosovo to open their hearts to the disaster that has hit Drenica.

Our society knows the value of life through the price it has paid for a life of freedom. In Drenica, like every corner in Kosovo, it finds ordinary people who have stood up to it. Not for yourself. Not against someone. For Kosovo. For the future.
There is no room for local and cultural racism. There is, and there is no difference between the people of Kosovo. There will never be and there will be no differences, which are greater than what we have in common: the awareness that unites us, the future we love, and the character to see each other as people we can rely on and support.
We have been and are like that. No lie or hypocrisy can obscure that truth. What Drenica represents is what is planted inside each citizen of Kosovo.
It's time for solidarity and support. Today, Drenica needs help. Today, all Kosovo must open its heart to Drenica. That's what we really are. Let us be together, so that we may reveal our truth as a people, against racism, difference, and lies that try to set us up.
