Missiles and explosions were heard all over the country, writes CNN.
Valentyn Reznicenko, head of the regional military administration of Dnepropetrovsk, said 39 people, including 14 children, had been saved so far and as many as 35 people could still be in ruins.
Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelensky had earlier said that “40x1> people, including a 3-year-old girl, were rescued from the building even though most floors were destroyed”.
According to the president, 72 apartments were destroyed, and more than 230 apartments were damaged in Saturday's attacks.
