In its response, the Croatian Government has stressed that Kosovo is an independent state and a state recognised by Croatia and that President Milanovic's statements are not the country's political stance.
“As far as the president's statements on the Kosovo issue are concerned, Croatia has clearly defined itself and what he said is not the country's political stance. Kosovo is an independent state, a state recognised by Croatia and the state with which we have diplomatic relations” said in posting the Croatian government on Twitter.
