After the criticism, President Osman once heads to Cline for the flood situation

In the afternoon, the presidency has reacted to PDK deputy chairman Vlora Citaku's statements, which have asked President Vjosa Osmani to talk about the flooding in several Kosovo municipalities.

The presidency has reportedly been in touch with relevant institutions that should be offered to citizens.

“Since yesterday, the presidency has been in constant contact with relevant institutions to make sure that complete mobilization exists to come to the aid of citizens affected by the floods in the municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo”.

In response, it is also said that the president has been in constant contact with Government in order to assess the damage done and minimize the consequences in the family economy, businesses and agriculture.

Chitak's statement, meanwhile, has described it as absurd, saying it was intended to attack Osman.

The President works for citizens of the Republic every day, so absurd statements, such as this is Mrs. Citaku today shows that there are such ones that just when civil interest needs to be protected, they are motivated by narrow interests in order to attack the President. Unlike Mrs. Citaku, the country's president, knows very well who the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo are, but also where the borders of the Republic of Kosovo are. President Osmani, she's always with the citizens and she's always working on the interest of citizens and state!”

Earlier, Citaku through a Facebook status had criticised Osman.

In an even severe economic situation for all Kosovo citizens, residents of Sqaheraj, Mitrovica, Kline and Istog were also hit by the floods. The damage to families in affected areas seems to be huge. You said a word to the President. Citizens of our Republic are the same. I hope institutions are mobilized and residents of areas affected by floods are financially assisted”, she wrote.
