Blues announced Mykhailo Mudryk's name as their fifth signing of the month during Sunday's 1,0th home victory over Crystal Palace, writes Periscope.
Mudryk seemed to be joining the leaders of Premierliga, Arsenal before Chelsea reached Shakhtar Donetsk's 87 million pounds prize.
He joins David Datro Fofana, Andrey Santos, Benoit Badiasile and Joao Felix at Stamford Bridge while Graham Potter continues to repair his team.
Chelsea needed reinforcements, given the first weak half of the season and the rising number of injuries, but cannot be denied that their team is filled with players.
They now have more players than they are allowed for a Champions League team. Only 17 players can register, while Chelsea now has 18 in their reserves according to the Daily Mail.
Before their first encounter in the 16th round of the League Champions with Borussia Dortmund on February 15th, they will be able to register three new players. Those players are expected to be Badiaschild, Felix and Mudryk.
If Potter wants to include his new signatures, he will have to remove a player who helped Chelsea lead the E Group at the end of last year.
The candidates for bypassed are Christian Pulics, NéGolo Kante and Denis Zakaria in view of their current problems of injuries./Periscopi/
