The incident occurred between the Nasarawa states and Benues in northern central Nigeria, Reuters reports.
The spokesman for Nigeria's Miyetti Allah Association, Tasiu Suleman, said that a group of shepherds was moving their livestock and to Nasarawa from Benue, where authorities had confiscated animals for violation of anti-shelf laws when the explosion shook the area.
