Bayern are trying to sign with the Swiss for a few weeks after they have asked for a replacement for Neuer who broke his leg during skiing. The amount of transfer will be eightm euros with 1.5m bonuss, according to Fabrizio Romano. Bonuse would have arrived if Bayerni won the Champions League. Monchengladbach, on the other hand, hesitated to sell their title goalkeeper, where they reportedly refused four bids by forcing Bayerni to double their bid to secure his signature.
Baierney was looking for a doorman after Neuer's injury. Even though he is a 37-year-old in 2023, the German is still a member of the team and can return for at least one season before considering his retirement. Somemer, then, is a temporary choice.
Bayerney's coach, Julian Nagelsmann, remains reserved for Somemer's purchase, causing the debate over him to heat up. “We would like to have a decision, in any direction”, he said at a press conference before his team returns to action against RB Leipzig on Friday.
The goalkeeper will carry out his transfer after conducting medical tests, thus becoming Bayerney's leading goalkeeper for the rest of the season.
