ASS shows how many businesses were registered and extinguished within 14 years

In the last 14 years, many economic companies began work and others were extinguished.

According to a report by the Statistics Agency of Kosovo, between 2009 and 2022, businesses suspended their activity.

In 2011, a total of 924 economic companies have disappeared, according to the census, the lowest figure compared to the other 13 years of this period.

And 2016 marks the year in which the business was mostly extinguished, 2,376 gne total.

However, in addition to this process over 132,000 economic enterprises began work over the years.

Business records were mostly held in 2022, where over 11,000 start operating.

And 2009 was the year with at least registered companies, about 7,500 across the country.
