The arrests at the Ministry of Agriculture, Peci: I Remain Dedicated in Fighting Corruption

Police have arrested two people, who allegedly accepted a sum of money on behalf of officials of a ministry, on promise to exert influence on the introduction of two grant applicants to the beneficiary list at that ministry. And Minister Faton Peci has written that he remains committed to fighting corruption and crime at the ministry.
He has thanked farmers for sharing information on this occasion.
“Thank our farmers for co-operation and sharing of information with us and the law bodies, and we encourage them to expose such irregularities and attempts as negative” in the future, Peci wrote.
