The US Embassy in Pristina has reacted after reports that, with their Twitter account, a favor has been made in a news story about the “recognition of Kosovo by 9 countries”. According to them, in the last 24 hours no consent has been made by the Embassy.
In the embassy's response, Kosovo's independence is a fact and that they reject any attempts to question Kosovo's independence and sovereignty.
“Kosovo's independence is fact. Our primary goal is to support Kosovo as it takes its rightful place in European and Euro-Atlantic structures. We flatly reject any attempts to question Kosovo's independence and sovereignty”, the embassy has written on Twitter.
