This reaction on Twitter comes after a news that the American Embassy account on this social network had “preferring” a post of a Serbian media speaking of Kosovo's recognitions claimed by Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq.
The official Twitter account of the American Embassy has not deliberately preferred any tweeting in the last 24 hours. As we have said before, when we want to articulate a position, we do it through official channels, statements, not through preference to social networks”, it says in clarification.
The embassy added that it flatly rejects “any attempts to question Kosovo's independence and sovereignty”.
Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq, during a news conference on 4 January, said he is waiting from the tenth state, which, according to him, Kosovo's independence recognition draws back. He didn't specify which country this was about.
Vuciq claimed nine states have only attracted Kosovo's recognition: Somalia, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Esvatini, Libya, Gunia, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Lucia and Maldivet.
Let's be clear: Kosovo is a fact. Our primary goal is to suppress Kosovo as it takes its rightful place in European and Euro-Atlantic sculptures. We chancely open any power to call into question Kosovo's independence and spirituality. 1/2
