The former “simply, using legal means we hacked hackers”, said Deputy General Lisa Monaco, the AP reported.
Officials said the targeted group, known as “Hive”, is among the five strongest networks in the world and has targeted many health care. The FBI went into silence on its control panel in July and was able to take the keys to the software it used with Germans and other partners to decipher the networks of about 1,300 victims worldwide, said FBI Director Christopher Wray.

Criminals receive sensitive data of users and ask for money in return. Hospitals have also been their target, especially during the pandemic.
