The Agreement will not be easy for either side. I think Serbia is ready and constructive, and I hope that all participants in the negotiations will act equally”, he wrote.
Meanwhile, US State Department adviser Derek Chollet said he has encouraged Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti to accept the EU proposal for normalising relations with Serbia.
Through a tweet, he said he spoke to Kurt about the matter Tuesday.
“A key theme has been our partnership and the common goal of advancing Kosovo's European and Euro-Atlantic integration”, Chollet wrote on Twitter.
He said that Kurti has also talked about advancing discussions on the Association of Serb majority municipalities in Kosovo.
The agreement on establishing this association has been reached since 2013 under the dialogue for normalising Kosovo-Serbia relations, which is mediated by the EU, but it has never been implemented.
