In a show on “Euronews Albania” discussing the topic of winter tourism, Locke said that before the hotels are financed, agriculture and livestock that supply them should be financed.
“Get an IPARD fund and says I do agroturism. It's not agroturized with Serbian cheese or with milk powder. Agroturism is small rural economies that feed”, she said.
Loku followed by stressing that agriculture and livestock must be in the first place if agriculture is to develop.
It's an important point, it's invested a lot in agroturism, but how can you make agrarianism when you don't protect the food used for agroturism? How can you provide a lot of funds for agrarianism, at a time when farming, livestock, land sowing, is a secondary experience. These must be in the first place, agriculture and livestock”, Locke said.
