The crash caused a great fire, and one side of the nest building was destroyed. Kyiv region governor said children and staff had been at the nursery when the plane crashed into a building in Brooklyn, northeast of the capital. President Voldymyr Zelensky called the accident a terrible <x0-tradition” and has called for a criminal investigation, reports Sky News.
“The SBU (The Ukrainian Security Service) has launched a criminal investigation into this horrible event”, he said in his night speech.
“I have instructed the head of Ukraine's security service, in collaboration with all other authorized bodies, to clarify all circumstances of disaster. ”
He also said Ukraine had <x0.0 lost people who were professionals, patriots and reliable leaders”. Interior Affairs Minister Daniys Montastyrskyi, his first deputy Yevhen Yenni, and ministry Secretary of State Yuri Lubkovych are among the dead.
