Russia hit Ukraine with a series of fears on another night of attacks, officials said Monday, while the Kremlin has signaled that it does not give up its strategy to bomb civilian infrastructure.
Fear strikes are in the wake of similar Russian attacks at the end of the year that ended and the start of the new year, including an attack that killed 3 civilians on the night of the shift of years.
Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said on Monday that 40 fears headed towards Kiev at night. According to air defence troops, all drones were destroyed.
Mr. Klitschko said 22 fears were destroyed over Kiev, three in the regions near Kiev and 15 in the neighbouring provinces.

Moscow's attack on Russia, which began on 24 February, has gone wrong, increasing pressure on President Vladimir Putin as his troops try to maintain positions and advance. During his speech to the nation for the new year, Mr. Putin said 2022 was the year of difficult but necessary decisions.
Mr. Putin insists he had no choice but to send troops to Ukraine because Russia's security -- a statement that has been condemned by the West -- said Moscow has full responsibility for the attack.

Drons, rockets and artillery shells released by Russian forces hit areas across Ukraine.

The official said Russian forces attacked the town of Berislav, shooting at a local market, likely from a tank. “Three of the wounded are in serious condition and are being evacuated to Kherson”, Janusevic said.
