Fitim Limani, the lawyer of one of the accused in the case, said in an interview for Good Morning Albanian at Euronews Albania that his client was attacked in prison by other convicts.
His “position is burdened with suspicion of two criminal acts that are considered in our penal code as the most serious criminal acts, punishment is the minimum 10 years. Communication is continuous, the emotional state is heavy, as my protector has been attacked in Pristina's detention centre because of the very serious case where he is involved”, the lawyer said.
He said 26-year-old Ekrem Rexhepi has been willing to co-operate with law enforcement agencies and have served all the evidence in his favor.
