The reasons for Mziu's departure, according to a Facebook status, mainly have to do with the injustices committed to worthy activists. “In Vetevendosje, the least you can find is internal democracy and merititocracy” says Mziu, among other things.

Dear citizens of Lipjan, respected activists and members of the Vetevendosje Movement!
I tell you from today I will not be part of the Vetevendosje Movement.
As a member of the Municipal Assembly in Lipjan I will be independent, not in the LVV assembly group.
When the purpose you are engaged in is not intended for everyone there is no future. Health and well-being are areas for which I will be engaged as an Independent Assemblymaker by the votes of the honored citizens.
In the local elections, I joined the Vetevendosje Movement team, believing and hoping for a real organisation within it.
From that election I came up as the most voted candidate on the Vetevendosje Movement list for the Municipal Assembly.
In time, I saw great injustices that were done to activists.
I saw and heard a lot of things I wouldn't believe existed within this subject in Lipjan.
I was not of the reconciliation that within this subject came political figures that played two cards. Especially the last addition, was a figure that enjoyed all privileges from local government, and only then when she found no place in the local executive of this mandate in Lipjan, came to LVV and did political shopping, where she has not yet spent 10 days on accession, her husband advances to the Lipjan prison.
Dear citizens,
In Vetevendosje, the least you can find is internal democracy and meritocracy.
Thanking you for the support you've given me so far, I assure you that I will continue to engage in the interest of citizens, especially in the field from which I come.
