The prosecution takes time to examine the attorneys' demands while awaiting the court's decision Monday.
At the Paplekj courtroom, he has declared he has been forced to shoot the shooting on the day of the event after no police intervened.
We haven't been called up, me or my lawyer. I've seen a lack of police action in the conditions where my colleague was injured I had no reaction from the police... and when I saw my life being threatened, I was forced to shoot”, Papalekaj was quoted as saying in the hall.
To Arber Paplekj, the prosecution has charged the murder in the qualitative circumstances, meanwhile for two under principals and six effectives, for abuse of office, for failing to intervene in the moment of conflict.
Of the April 21st event, four others -- Emiljan Prenga, Pavlo Vuksani, Eltjon Bodinaku and Gensila Sota (Police officer) -- were injured. Paplekaj confessed to crime and surrendered himself to the RENEA Forces Department in Tirana, saying he fired for self-defence after being shot earlier by persons who, according to him, were buying votes.
