Sheell: EU has compiled 13-point document for eventual transition agreement between Pristina, Belgrade

Recently, the European Union's special envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, paid an unprecedented visit to Kosovo, where he met with the country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, to appoint a meeting between him and Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, Fatmir Sheholli told the Serbian newspaper Danas.

Lajcak came to Kosovo yesterday for official visit, and Sheholli said that according to the knowledge of the institute he leads, a new document for “final transitional” has been compiled.

“We have information from certain Western sources that the European Union has compiled a document containing 13 detailed points for the contents of “the final transitional agreement” between Kosovo and Serbia aimed at implementing the agreement in the medium-term”, said the Institute for Interethnic Relations Director.

“We are clearly entering the phase of a diplomatic offensive that will result in a document that will have the exact framework of the agreement in the medium term, taking into account that neither party nor Pristina nor Belgrade are ready for the major final concept that would once and for all solve the Kosovo issue and Serbia”, Sheholli said. /Periscopi/
