It happens in Serbia: Referee cancelled the goal, looking at the occasion on a fan's phone

While in Albania and the European elite championships are discussed on the decisions of VAR or arbitrators, in Serbia there are those who use simpler methods. In a match, the Serbian referee, during a championship match, overturned his decision after seeing the occasion on a fan's phone present on the stadium steps. Officials [...]
The game official had to face a suspicious episode during the match of an inferior division. A player managed to score with his head, and according to the judge goal was fair. However, the opposing team and their fans disagreed and began to protest. According to them, in fact the player who scored the goal was in a dead end. Referee did not lose his temper and quickly solved the problem. He chose to review the action. The VAR? Not exactly.
A VAR “do it yourself”, so it can be determined. Referee arrived to fans and asked who had registered the last minutes of the game before the protest. Fortunately, a man had filmed the entire action and showed the video to the referee. After checking the phone, the referee overturned his decision. The player was out, so the goal was not valid.
Images and videos of this scene have taken over the network. There are those who have asked whether the use of intelligent phones is permitted by some regulation and those who have been ironic: “WAR is now available on Google Play Store”.
