Rhetman Jasharaj does not release: until the government sits down for dialogue with us and implements our demands, the strike continues

Jasharaj said they have submitted their request to the president, asking her to change her authority and have a dialogue between the Government and trade unions the following days.

He suggested once again that in such a situation, the strike will continue.

“We have talked long and she is willing to continue with commitments. We presented to her our requests which she also said are legitimate. The issue was and we told her that the problem so far has come in a lack of dialogue with the Kosovo government. We asked the president to use her authority positively to influence today, to sit with government representatives tomorrow because we told her that this 50-euro package is not realising our demands. The government should sit down and talk with us and start with realising our demands, 100 euros per month until the wage law is made”, Jasharaj said.
