Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama stands out for his lines with politicians.
In most of the meetings with international counterparts, and not only, Rama has not spared them.
Such is the concrete case, where Rama has “involved” the US ambassador to Serbia, Christofer Hill.
In his address at the Balkans Open Summit in Belgrade, Rama has told participants to take care of what they say, as the ambassador understands the language they speak.
I'm happy to see you here in front of Ambassador Chris Hill, who like all the successful Americans who come to this region know his language, knows our language, so when you speak in front of them, be careful that they understand us not only in English, but they understand us and when we speak our language. I am also very pleased that here today there are two very important friends to us, representing two equally important countries for our region, the foreign minister of Turkey, our friend and my dear friend Mevluüt Cavuşoğlu, whom I would like to thank for his presence. Turkey is an irreplaceable strategic partner of Albania, but also an ally of all positive processes in our region, as well as Hungary's Foreign Minister, our friend Peter Szijarto, who I also want to thank. Just as we have made it public at the summit last year, we invited the foreign ministers of Greece and Italy, who for objective and impossible reasons, with the elegant apology could not be here, but will be invited again and I hope we will all be present together at the upcoming summit in Tirana”, Rama said. /abcnews. al
