Rama at the Open Balkans Fair in Belgrade: We've lost a lot of time showing who's first.

Prime Minister Edi Rama said during the Summer Fair held in Belgrade under the Balkan Open that Western Balkan countries should co-operate and not be enemies with each other as it has been for centuries. He stressed that the Open Balkans is much more than economy, trade or political, by [...]
He stressed that the Open Balkans is much more than economy, trade or political, stressing that it is essentially a peace and co-existence project, calling the Balkans a small neighbourhood in the middle of Europe.
He reiterated that this initiative is to come to the aid of all citizens or businessmen, exchanging products and expanding production.
We've lost a lot of time trying to show each other who's first, while one thing we've all learned, that none of us are going anywhere else, all our countries are here to stand behind us, and many years behind us, and our choice is very simple, how to stand here in this country being all in the same neighborhood of Europe, trying to make it more joyful, more peaceful or more peaceful, or throwing stones at each other's tiles tiles, setting fire on one another like we's many years of time. Even here at this European high-level fair, it is clearly better this way together. Today, visiting this fair where besides producers from Serbia, North Macedonia is also from many other countries, with great fame for wine production, we have given them the opportunity not only to exchange products or expand production, we have enabled wine traders to a common market that would take a long time, here are 22 producers from Albania, while in Albania it grows 10% of the land of vineyards each year.
We aim to develop it annually by moving it from one capital to the other. We have to get this initiative that is not just ours, but it's all people's, it's up to all those who transport, provide services, that develop our industry, the Open Balkans is much more than our economy, trade, and politics, it's a peace project, co-existence this small neighbourhood in the middle of Europe not to suffer more but to become a vision of the future for our youth”, Rama said.
