President Osmani- Sadriu has suggested that with Mamma's chairman today, he has talked about the work plans and investments that have been made over the years in the Mamusa municipality, especially of drinking water in this municipality, which has been in the face of years.
She said they are making efforts, together with international partners, that municipal projects, especially those necessary, such as for the drinking water in Mamusa, are moving forward.
The president also suggested that the president and Mamusha have discussed other issues, especially security in this municipality, and the start of the learning process.
She demanded that the strikes end and schools open.
I wanted Mamsuha's children today to see them at school. Sadly, however, teachers have continued the strike today. I call on all teachers to stop the strike and open the school doors. Everything else is solved, but the damage done to children by not going to the school bank is irreparable. The Law of Salaries will come, but the time we're wasting on our children will never be able to return. Therefore, from here to Mamusa, I call on all teachers to join forces to return to schools and offer it to our students, our children, knowledge at school banks”, she said.
Asked by journalists about the mediating role between unions and the government, President Osmani- Sadriu said she is not a mediator, but is president of all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and tries to reach consensus between unionists and the government to start teaching in Kosovo schools as soon as possible.
Schools must be opened. Our children should not be denied education. That's what I'm engaged in, said President Osmani-Sadriu.
Also, President Osmani-Sadriu, questioned that when she intends to visit municipalities in northern Kosovo, she said she is constantly negotiating to realise visits even in those municipalities, and as soon as a request is made to visit her will go.
