He said they have currently declared the government dialogue.
If they force us to take union steps, we'll do it. But we have actually declared the Government dialogue. May God not push us to that stage so that we union can move to radicalism. We should act however it may be, if not with understanding then with union actions”, Zeqiri said.
Zeqiri has said that Kosovo police officers are the only ones in the world who have no health insurance, and also the average age of the Kosovo Police is the largest in the region.
He has also said that discontent is also in the Law of Salaries, especially since the cofficiency is not specified.
It's not affordable for the Government to make police officials with health insurance. It's about 4 million euros a year. It would be an honor for the police and a tremendous need, but an honour for the Government to make health insurance for the police after 23 years, Zeqiri said.
The unpleasantness of the draft law that is under public discussion is that the value of the cofficient is not set. We've been offered something on the market, so to speak, but we don't know the price. The value of the cofficient should be set. And the other is that at each degree we're two cofficiency less than the KSF, why not be equal to KSF and we're a security institution, despite respect for the KSF, we're the main security carriers. Another disappointment is that this Law stated that after publishing in the official newspaper, eight months later, why, what is the reason. We'll sit down and talk about every detail”, he said of the cosovapress.
