Peci says: We found debts in the ministry but changed management.

Faton Peci from List Guxo says she does not comment on reports of MP Doarsa Kica-Jali leaving the party. According to him, if the MP has something to say is due to be declared, while adding that they do not have any clarification on the issue.

“We expect positions by the MP in question, unless we have a clarification of it, we continue to think that they are part of journalistial discussions or writings at the level of”, he says of Kosovas Prees.

He says the Google List is on track to realise all commitments it has made in the last national election.

“Whoever may express any disappointments I am very curious with understanding or with the day what the dissatisfaction is, especially for the basis that we simply, all the vows and the public promises we have given in the last national elections, I believe we are on very good track in realising, so that the part of journalistic writings I don't comment on, if there's something to say in question the MP belongs to her declaring”, he said.

Faton Peci, who heads the Ministry of Agriculture, also speaks of the support this minister gives to municipalities through grants and subsidies.

He denies that the government is offering greater support to municipalities led by the ruling party.

“Absolutely (support) is the same for all municipalities, I can share with you an example, within capital investments for the category of investments in the irrigation sector, we have signed memorandums with eight municipalities, of them two municipalities that have been offered support are from Vetevendosje, two are from LDK, two from the PDK and two from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo. Support has also been in terms of representation of Kosovo's regions, but also in terms of political representation, so we do not know political parties at the level of communication with farmers, with the ongoing investment realisation municipalities”, the Agriculture Minister says.

He says the Ministry of Agriculture has found it in an uncomfortable situation, while adding that from the start of the job, this ministry has worked more than all past mandates.

“Unfortunately the situation in which I took the Ministry of Agriculture has been in an extremely uncomfortable situation, only in a category of debts to farmers were 40 million euros, so we've completely changed this part of the management and access to the Ministry of Agriculture, for a year and a half of the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture from me, in this case from the Kurti 2 government in case we take on the basis of map policies, strategic documents, advance of legislation and financial support, are more than the entire other mandates of the country's <1> he says.

According to him, Kosovo's farmer is currently the most supported in the region.

He cites the not favourable situation currently due to the rising price of agricultural impacts, but according to him the government is making the best possible to increase support for farmers.

Our support in the category of subsidies amounts to 216%, is economic growth and multiplying in all support categories for farmers, is the largest support in the region, is the largest ever realised support in the agriculture sector. Now we cannot as institutions or as a small country influence the level of oil prices or the train of agricultural products or impacts that have largely resulted from the energy crisis, the effect of pandemic and war in Ukraine”, says the minister of Agriculture.
