Le Parisienc reports that Pogba has been placed under police protection in Turin.
The report adds that a member of his circle has confirmed the story and that footballer's brother, Mathias Pogba, was handed over to authorities investigating attempted blackmail.
Pogba told police that he faced the group that included friends from his childhood and adolescence years, as well as two men disguised with long arms.
