President Vjosa Osmani has been declared after many meetings she has had during today over the strike issue.
She said that the student's interest is primary, so she has demanded that the lesson begin immediately.
We had meetings all day. First with representatives of the Parents' Council, Council of Students, Coalition of Organisations for the Protection of Children's Rights, BSPK, SBASAK, with the board of Kosovo Commission Associations. With all of this, we discussed the possibilities for restarting the learning process from Monday of the week, which comes at”.
Moreover, over all the days that have passed over I have been in communication with the Government of Kosovo, which has continued today and will continue tomorrow and beyond. I want to stress that the constitutional right of children in education should not allow any of us to be violated, but rather we have to unite forces to improve the quality of our education system with students in the center of attention”.
The interest of students, children in this country, is primary so learning should start immediately. Today at meetings with students and parents, we discussed the many challenges children face in our schools from infrastructural to security issues, the quality of school education to sexual harassment and bulimism that are increasingly present. I've guaranteed as president that will push ahead to address all these issues, given the spotlight to children and children. I am fully committed to finding a solution so that the learning process can start as soon as possible and that students will no longer suffer, because it is their interest that is being irreparably damaged”.
