Nagavci for the strikes: It's not the goal of improving working conditions, it's blackmailing the government.

Education Minister Arberie Nagavci, who is now and how many days now fighting a battle with the SBASK because they have entered the strike, demanding additions of 100 euros a month for teachers. Nagavci told them [...]
Nagavci, through a long writing on her account on the social Facebook network, has shown SBASK'u how a sincere divorce takes place, citing strikes in northern Macedonia and Norway.
“Greva is a democratic and legitimate instrument for highlighting workers' problems in any democratic country. Beyond each country's historical and legal specifications, practices across Europe and the world show one thing: when strikes are genuine and used to bring the demands of workers into the agenda, they do not continue even if 100% of the requirements are not met immediately.
When they are not aimed at improving the conditions of workers, but blackmailing the other side, they are behind the 100% demand barricade, and immediately”, she wrote.
According to her, teachers who went on strike in northern Macedonia months ago have not expected 100% of the requirements to be met, but, according to her, interrupted the strike when the government met some of the requirements immediately.
Macedonia's “Unionists made sure that, when the government has met only part of their demands, learning to continue and students not suffering”.
She also mentioned the teachers' strike in Norway, saying Norwegian unionists make sure that, in parallel with handling their demands, teaching will continue and students will not suffer
“in Norway, from June the teachers are demanding salary increases through the strike. But the three largest tear unions determine from 2-3 teachers at school who will hold strikes in the respective days. Because Norwegian unionists make sure that, in parallel with handling their demands, the lesson will continue and students will not suffer.
Several years ago, Bulgarian teachers went on strike, demanding double pay. The strike was interrupted when the government increased 48% salaries, and only 22.5% immediately, while the rest after a year. Because Bulgarian unionists made sure that, when the government has met only part of their demands, the lesson will continue and students will not suffer”, she wrote.
Nagavci has mentioned the SBASK's strikes over the years, saying that then strikes have only interrupted with offers, while this time they have decided to ignore not only the offers, according to her, many better but also the already undertaken actions that are close to their demand.
Meanwhile, Kurti Government's actions are not only reaching them, but overcoming SBASK's demands. Part immediately, a part of systemic reform”, she said.
According to her, the bids offered by the government, the SBASKU is informed, but have decided to ignore, because according to her, the reason for ignoring is not about the implementation of union requirements.
“In spite of that, the Government and AugustI will continue to do the work it has on its mandate to improve the quality of education in Kosovo.
I call once again on my teachers to continue the learning process as soon as possible, reflecting on all the government's doings and giving opportunities to other sweeping reforms that are under way and will soon end”, she said.
