Montenegro: Agreement reached, Lekiq is mandated

The leader of New Serb Democracy, Andrija Ma persecuted, following the August 2020 majority rally, said agreement has been reached for Miodrag Lekiq from DEMOS to be nominated for mandate, RRTCG broadcasts. We all gave him our support today, and we all agreed to inform the president of Montenegro, of whom we are using this opportunity to grant a mandate to Lekiqi. Any misunderstanding and if someone estimates that today is the last day, we expect until midnight to be informed that the new mandate is Lekiq”, Ma persecuted reporters in the Assembly.

The head of NOVA indicated that Lekiq will make considerable efforts to reach a coalition agreement, where everything the parliamentary majority wants will be precise.

“and let us agree on everything that means taking responsibility,” said, persecuted and added that the most important thing now is to get a new mandate by midnight. He said the future government would consist of the principle of equality.

“Half will be held by GP U colleagues RA, CIVIS, PKSH and possibly minority representatives. The other half will be held by political parties that have 32 deputies in the Assembly. So on one side, those who have nine mandates will be represented and in the other half will be the ones with 32 mandates. The golden vote in this division will be held by Prime Minister Miodrag Lekiq”, Ma persecuted.

We remember that today is the deadline for President Milo Djukanovic to propose a representative for government composition.
