Teachers are demanding that there be additional salaries of 100 euros until the adoption of the salary law.
Kosovo's government, this weekend, has presented the new package, in which it has provided three months' additions to 50 euros for public officials, but the strike council has rejected this proposal, calling it unacceptable and that it does not meet their demands.
Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Arberie Nagavci, tonight in “RTK Prime”, has invited teachers to return to schools.
We're prioritizing, not declarative, but we've witnessed, I invite for reflection. Dialogue has not been missed, the SBASK has all had the doors open to dialogue with me. The issues they raised are addressed”, she said.
According to her, since the strike has been warned there has been no meeting with SBASK representatives. The “is disturbing how the strike has been warned”, she said.
