Minister Latifi sé respects the Parliamentary Commission, Hykmete Bajrami: Must be downloaded for no work

Opposition deputies on Tuesday have criticised Minister Latifi for his absence to the commission and for his serious health situation. Until the audience report to the Ministry of Health is considered only at the plenary session.

The opposition has also estimated that Minister Latifi is not doing the job properly.

The Commission's chairman, Hykmete Bajrami, even said that on the basis of numerous findings that were recorded by the National Auditing Office for USKKU and MSH for 2021, MPs in a upcoming session would likely recommend the dismissal of Minister Latifi.

“I hesitate to recommend a ministry to download a board, when the minister himself is not doing the job properly. So we have a minister who didn't come to the Commission with all the confirmation and dates that we made possible. So when we review the Health Ministry auditing report, it is very likely that one of the many deputies' recommendations in the session will be to dismiss the minister for failing to work”, Bajrami stressed.

While, for the findings at the University Clinical Hospital Service (SHSKUK), PDK deputy Rashit Qalaj has asked the SHSKUK board to be fired.

If a Bord has violated the law he should be given responsibility. It's not our political conclusion, but a professional body that has ascertained the situation. And now we close our eyes to a violation of the law. I believe we have responsibility here as deputy. We can recommend to the minister for the board's dismissal, but whether it does or so, this is the matter of Minister”, Qala stressed.

Vetevendosje Movement MP Eman Canman has not requested the dismissal of the USKKUK Board, but an assessment of the work of members of this board in connection with 18 found.

It's our competence that gives me recommendations, but of course we can't decide that it doesn't belong to us. But our recommendations come based on the findings of the National Audition Office. There are 18 found at SSHKUK, where they hold the board that is of seven members. We can make a recommendation to the ministry to make me an assessment of the work of Board members in connection with these found”, he stressed.

The Public Finance Supervisor Commission also discussed the independent audit report for the PVFs of the National Audition Office, for the year ended on December 31, 2021.

General Administrator Vlora Spanca during the report said the opinion of external auditing is unmodified, but it has recorded two findings.

One of them, according to Spain, has to do with the technical aspects of procurement activity procedures in the e-procure system and the other with implementation of the interior audience's recommendations.

“In the case of procurement activity for supply of information technology equipment, the opening commission members' roles in the procurement system and the roles of the members of the evaluation Commission have not been activated. It is not a violation that the same person will be at the opening and in the evaluation, but what is recorded by the foreign audience is in the e-procuration system”, Spanca stressed.

While, MP The PDK, Hajdar Beqa, has asked for more efficiency from the National Audition Office, as according to him this institution is in the interest of citizens.
