Chairman of Rahovez, Smajl Latifi in a statement about Periscope has shown how far they have managed to intervene and what damage has been caused.. Fortunately, there was no danger in people's lives that need evacuations.
He has further indicated that the damage will be assessed and addressed to the Government of Kosovo for compensation.

The government of the Republic of Kosovo is carefully forwarding the situation on the ground after heavy rainfall. For this we have raised the level of co-ordination and reaction capacity, with the aim of responding to the situation created by the results.
Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Jelal Svechla, Minister of the Management of Local Power, Mr. Elbert Krasniqi, and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Mr. Imri Demelez, along with mayors and responsible institutions officials, are visiting affected municipalities to see the situation and coordinate actions to provide needed support.
The central level is in a position to respond to citizens' demands.
The Agency for Emergency Management (AME) has announced all operations and followed the alert level announcement, and together they are monitoring the situation. The AME is continuing to follow the situation and is ready for response with the Professional Units of Fire and Rescue in the Communists.
The floods have affected several villages of Gjakova and Rahovec and neighbourhoods in the town of Gjakova. The most heavily loaded situation was the state in “Mixe Galica”, “Yllka Domi”, “Degut Vokshi”, “Permet Voula” and several other neighbourhoods in the town of Gjakova.
The Ministry of Interior Affairs/An emergency management agency has provided contributions to firefighters who are engaged in evacuation in the “neighbourhood. Shot Galica” and other neighborhoods.
The level of readiness has been established, and a water pump unit has been launched from Pristina with large capacity for water withdrawal.
An AME rescue search unit is on alert, if it should go for support, but currently there is no need for such action.
