So stated EU spokesman Peter Stano. The same has said that current issues involving dialogue are expected to be discussed at the meeting.
It is part of the work of EU Special Representative Lajčac to travel and meet partners in the region, as well as in the EU and wider. We do not necessarily announce and comment on each working meeting or his interaction with partners in the region. These working visits, like the one in Kosovo today, are being conducted in the context of advancing the dialogue process and continuing discussions on comprehensive normalisation relations and on current issues involving EU facilitated dialogue”, Stano claims.
The country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, will host European Union Special Representative Miroslav Lajcak at the meeting today.
This has been confirmed by Kosovo Government spokesman Progress Kryeziu.
Kryeziu has announced Lajcak is staying in Kosovo.
“Prime Minister Kurti is holding the meeting with European Union Special Representative Lajcak, who is staying in Kosovo. Then he continues the daily agenda of the official meetings”, and he reads.
Lajcak's visit has not been announced before, even though the same one along with two other emissaries of Germany and France for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue stayed in Kosovo and Serbia last week.
Prime Minister Kurti recently left the Kosovo Assembly Hall, while arguing about the strike, to meet with Lajcak.
