Kurti: We've increased the education budget by 12 percent

In the presence of students from Kosovo, Albania, Germany, France and Northern Macedonia, and legalists from all over Europe, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti attended the opening of the 2022 international summer camp.

This summer camp, for 83 young people from five different countries, has been enabled because all of us who are here today know and appreciate the value of a well-educated body”, the prime minister said.

Kurti has indicated that the government has increased the education budget by 12 percent.

The government of the Republic of Kosovo has increased the budget for education for 12%. He made free public education for the top level and master. He has distributed over 3,000 scholarships for students distinguished for studies in and out of the country. In closing the gender gap, 1,365 scholarships have been set up for girls and women students from STAM fields. 106 scholarships for the promotion of girls to pursue technical profiles and encourage boys to pursue deficit profiles”, Kurti has indicated.

Wishing for the organisation of this summer camp and wishing for prosperity, the prime minister completed the speech, stressing that love of knowledge and science means love for mankind and development.
