Kurt never visited the Valley as prime minister and did not share the promised 2 million

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has never visited the Presevo Valley since the Presevo Valley came to power. When asked Sunday when I will visit Albanians there, it did not give any date but briefly said it will visit the Presevo Valley. While the 2m euros promised for Albanians there are not [...]

On Monday, Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi and Education Minister Arberie Nagavci stayed in the Presevo Valley in the book distribution activity for Albanian students there.

Or, they were not welcomed by Presevo Chairman Shqirim Arifi, with the reasoning that Kosovo's ruling Vetevendosje has ignored the Presevo municipality.

Unlike his deputy, Bislim and Minister Nagavci, Prime Minister Albin Kurti has received his mandate has not paid an official visit to Albanians on this side, writes Insander.

Besides not physical, Kurt never gave them the 2 million promised.

We recall that the prime minister himself on October 29th last year had announced from the government's meeting that the 2022 budget bill has earmarked 2m euros for the Presevo Valley.

For the first time, we have budgeted support for the Presevo Valley, in many of the 2m euros”, Kurti said at the meeting.

But that money never ended up in the hands of institutions there. The mayor of Presevo, Shqirim Arifi, had reacted sharply.

The man in an interview for Gazeta Insander had said that the execution of these tools is greatly damaging the projects that are being prepared there and that the money is financed by these tools.

He blames the man close to Albin Kurti, Minister Lieburn Aliu who is involved in not giving these tools. According to him, this is happening because of the family ties Lieburn Aliu has with former Presevo Mayor Ardita Sinani. Arifi says he personally cannot be controlled by the Kurti Government, claiming that former Mayor Ardita Sinan has been checked.

Nothing, De Fact. De facto we have what we expect at the meetings to take pictures. Not even the money they promised us yet. And this is from Lieburn Aliu who is influential in the government Kurti don't charge the money Kosovo citizens have decided to send 2m euros to Presevo. Our three projects planned by these vehicles have stopped. Three projects required by our citizens”, Arifi said.

So far, the government has not commented on why it has not transferred 2 million to the Albanian accounts there.

But on today's visit, Bislimi said they have allocated the 2m-euro fund, but according to him, it's only an initial fund, since it's started with the idea of future growth in number.

“The pleasant conversation with you, and the possibility that at least Kosovo will do something for our brothers in the Valley, we have allocated the fund for 2 million, but only as an initial fund with the idea of growing in volume in the future, for contrast has increased in co-operation”, Bislimi has declared.

Bislimi, did not show a specific date when the citizens there will benefit from the fund.
