The joint declaration has been signed between Kosovo and the United Kingdom for co-ordination of the two countries' forces on military missions.
Defence Minister Armend Mehaj, on an official visit to the United Kingdom, was received at the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland Ministry of Defence by Armed Forces and Veterans Minister James Heapey.
This meeting, in addition to confirming the support of the United Kingdom in Kosovo's NATO integration goals, precedes Kosovo's plan for co-operation for years to come. “Under this co-operation has been signed a joint declaration among ministers for co-ordination of the KSF with the British Army in missions that the United Kingdom engages with its military troops”, said the Defence Ministry's announcement.
Also, during the meeting, Minister Mehe offered support with all capacities under the effort to help the Government and the people of Ukraine, as well as renewed our positions against Russian aggression in Ukraine.
The joint declaration for co-barrim is much achieved in the Republic of Kosovo, which strongly reconfirms the full credibility of the United Kingdom and its Government at our Ministry of Defence and the capacities of our forces”.
