Tomorrow's match is of great importance to both national teams.
Kosovo aims to win to preserve its second position in the group, in which it currently ranks at 6 points only one more than Northern Ireland and Cyprus.
The “Dardians” also have enough draw to remain in the C League for the next season, but there should be nothing left to chance.
At the news conference held today, National defender Mirlind Kryeziu appeared, who praised tomorrow's match as very important, but said he believes he will win the full scores.
“Tomorrow we have the match against Cyprus, very important to keep the second place. We hope to secure the three points. We're a little disappointed, since we shouldn't miss the game. These days we've had a great time, I think we'll get three points at home”, the 25-year-old said.
He said that Kosovo played well for 80 minutes against Northern Ireland, but that they have now analysed the mistakes made in that match, in which Kosovo suffered losses with a score of 2:1.
“The shield and the whole team made a great game for 80 minutes. We analyzed mistakes related to the suffered goals. We have also analyzed the Cyprus game and prepared very well. It's not a weak group, but our team has the quality to be in the first places in this group, first or second,“, Kryeziu said.
The match between Kosovo and Cyprus will take place from 20:45, at the “Fadil Vokri” stadium. /Gazza Express/
