According to him, the cyber security sector team at the Information Society Agency in collaboration with foreign experts have identified that the problem with internet service is due to cyberattack.
The cybersulm has not penetrated the infrastructure of the state computer network since it is blocked by relevant security devices. It has been identified that cyberattack came from outside Kosovo and that the target had the IP in which several websites of the Republic of Kosovo institutions were published”.

Yesterday and today, there have been occasional problems with internet service in the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo. The cyber security sector team at the Information Society Agency in collaboration with foreign experts have identified the problem with internet service as a result of cyberattack. The cyberattack has not penetrated the infrastructure of the state computer network since it is blocked by relevant security equipment. It has been identified that cyberattack came from outside Kosovo and that as a target there were IPs in which several websites of institutions of the Republic of Kosovo have been published. The Information Society Agency, either the cyber security team, has undertaken concrete action in order to overcome this cyberattack and become a function of Internet service.
At the moment, the situation has stabilised internet service as well as other online and web sites are functional and accessible. The ASHI cyber security team will continue with monitoring the safety of government services and systems, and will take necessary measures to manage their operations and security
