He said that currently in production there are two blocks, while showing what total production is.
“Currently there are two blocks, the A3 and A4 block is in production and B1 and B2 are in production, and total production runs as high as 760-770. We demand we do not know, because this is the task of the supplier, we know how much we produce and how much we have production capacity”, Krasniqi said.
“Block b2 so much of an avar last year and it had to become a deeper inspection and during this time we detected several additional shovel damage, which was supposed to be repaired, so even the remont took 5-6 days longer than it was planned”.
Until he talked about the energy crisis, he said KEK is making all preparations for the winter season.
The energy crisis is all over Europe and it won't pass that fast. What I can say is that we as KEK have made all preparations that during the winter season we are ready for maximum production as much as our capacity allows, but we cannot provide answers to total consumption. ”
As for what Kosovo sleeps on coal”, Krasniqi said coal is not the first subject.
And what we have is first material, but megavats are not raw, they're a final product, and we have these capacities in the final product that we have and I think the blocks of Kosovo are built in the '70s... We now pay the cost of noninvestment for 40 years. ”
“Remonts are part of regular maintenance, it's not a new investment, it's not a capacity expansion, nor are they regular capacity. ”
“Needs for imports are minimal”.
