An incident occurred in late Friday hours in one of Westminster's halls, where Queen Elizabeth II's coffin is standing, and where its prayers are being held in her honour.
A person rushed toward the coffin but was immediately bound by security forces.
“Around Friday 22:00 Friday (September 16th), officers from the Met Parliamentary and Diplomatic Defence Command arrested a man in Westminster Hall after a strategy”, Scotland Yard said in a response.
“We are aware of an incident at Westminster Hall, in which a member of the public stepped out of line and went towards coffin”, a spokesman for parliament said.
