They are wrong, they are poisoning Turkish society and good neighbourly relations. We will not follow Turkey and Mr. Erdogan in the hail of provocative statements. It would be irresponsible and out of character for me. We will give clear answers and internationally highlight the deformity Turkey is trying to increase tension and show Greece is responsible”.
The Greek islands are no threat to Turkey. The opposite is true. Turkey threatens the islands of Greece, according to Mitsotakis.
“We will continue to equip the armed forces and try to keep channels open with Turkey. I'm not the one who blew up the bridges of communication with the neighboring country. Responding to another question, Kyriakos Mitsotakis commented on the possibility that the crisis will escalate into a military confrontation with Turkey.
I cannot imagine a Turkey-Greece conflict with Turkey attacking at the expense of Greek national sovereignty. I don't think it can happen. And if that were to happen, Turkey would receive an answer that would be absolutely secular. I think Turkey knows that very well. He recognises the size of the Greek armed forces and their readiness scale”, the prime minister stressed.
