Haziri: Avaries that have emerged in the municipality of Gjilan are worrying about political stability and developmental policies

The chairman of the LDK branch in Gjilan, simultaneously deputy head at the central level, Lutfi Haziri, after the chairmanship meeting, has held a media conference today along with the Council Group in the Municipal Assembly, where he has indicated that preparations and commitments for the party's programming Convention, which will be held on 24 September, which will focus on the opposition and the role of the LDK in this political phase.

He said the LDK branch programme convention in Gjilan, which will be held on 24 September, is expected to clear up the further opposition steps in the municipality and sectoral policies, co-operation with citizens, interest groups, civil society and media in the interest of our municipality's development.

Whatever we have in focus of the debate is the situation in the Municipal Convention. The loss of the political majority built on the occasion of choosing the new executive, already in Gjilan, has been confirmed. The ruling party, along with coalition parties, has built an artificial majority that is not functioning. The aspirations that have emerged in the Municipal Assembly are disturbing for political stability in our municipality and worrying about developmental policies, which have been held hostage to development due to domestic political disputes. We call for political stability, where our role as the first and largest party in Gjilan has always been in the function of development. But, we can't participate in the boiling pot of most artificial majority”, Haziri said.

He further stressed that through the Committee for Policy and Finance and through the LDK Council Group, he has called for the regular calendar of committee work to be activated as the municipality does not have the regular calendar of sectoral policies on the Municipal Assembly Committees.

The fact that no new investment within ten months has taken place in Gjilan by this administration until today. On the contrary, contracts such as the work of the Stadium have been terminated, not approval of the specific plan proposed by the Hidomorawa Consistents, which relates to wells in the extent of the new sewage collection network, not sharing expropriation tools, then interventions in professional commissions and nepotism highlighted in employment, etc. This whole Communist Assembly independence is a reflection of the error at the executives.
